A Wedding at The Riviera ~ Pauline + Jason

Pauline and Jason’s wedding took place shortly after the Hurricane that had devastated so many areas on the east coast.  While many weddings had to be rescheduled or re-located because of the storm, Pauline & Jason’s wedding was moving forward as scheduled.  Not only did Pauline and Jason look amazing, they were also blessed with all their family and friends in attendance under beautiful blue, sunny skies!

Although they worked at the same restaurant, their shifts didn’t overlap.  It wasn’t until they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend in 2007, that they met and started dating.  Here we are five years later celebrating their relationship!

Pauline looked so beautiful in her Demetrios wedding dress and her handsome husband, Jason, wore a Vera tuxedo.  What pauline loves about Jason… his kindness, his generosity and that “he’s a cutie!”  Jason loves Pauline’s passion for everything she does, her optimism and her beauty.  The chemistry between this couple just unfolded in front of my camera.  Their comfort and ease in each other’s presence was just… amazing!  I am honored to have been given the opportunity to have Pauline and Jason share this with me!

Congratulations Pauline & Jason!

Hugs,

Tessie

Long Island Winery Engagement ~ Jill + Rob

It was just days after some terrible weather that came upon the East Coast, that there were moments of sun, serenity and love.  Take a stroll through Jill and Rob’s engagement session at one of my favorite locations.  It was the perfect backdrop to showcase Jill and Rob having fun, enjoying each other’s company in front of my lens!

Their wedding next June is going to be amazing!

Thank you Jill and Rob for allowing me to sneak in and capture some beautiful moments between the two of you.

Hugs,

Tessie

The Lace Factory, CT. Wedding ~ Teri + Jason

This was a beautiful fall November day in beautiful Deep River, Connecticut.  It was Teri & Jason’s wedding day and one of my most anticipated destination weddings this year.  Teri & Jason had a clear vision for their wedding from the day we met!  Almost every detail that defined the decor and the backdrop of their wedding day was inspired by the love of their family and of their friends!

When Teri & Jason came to see me, I could not help but be taken in by how genuine they both are.  They are a caring, warm and very sweet couple.  And so, it was no surprise to me that I would be in very good company on the day of their wedding.  The love from their family and friends ran deep.  Jason’s cousin did all the save the dates and invitations for the wedding; Teri’s aunt tailored her wedding dress; Their grandfather hand-made all of the centerpiece boxes each with their own personalized, hand-stamped plaque;  and their grandmother designed all the floral arrangement for the centerpiece boxes.  One of my favorite personal touches was the hallway leading into the reception room… Photos of every guest in attendance was displayed along the corridor!

Explore the details and see how they effortlessly put it all together…

Congratulations to Teri & Jason!  So grateful to have been there with all your family and friends to capture every minute of the love you all share with each other!

Hugs,

Tessie

Coindre Hall Engagement ~ Erica + Pat

Erica and Pat’s engagement session was set on the grounds of Coindre Hall on the north shore of Long Island, NY.  The best part was that we could have one of their vip’s join us for the shoot!  Take a look.

I am looking forward to their wedding next August!  Thank you Erica and Pat for inviting me back to celebrate yet another wedding celebration for you and your family!  It is a great compliment!

Hugs,

Tessie

Wind Watch Golf & Country Club Wedding ~ Melissa + Alex

High school sweethearts Melissa and Alex first met in fourth grade band class and were lab partners in eighth grade.  Having been together since high school  What I loved about Melissa and Alex was their ease in front of the camera.  Although both Melissa and Alex expressed that they were nervous about being photographed, I’d like to think that getting to know each other better during their engagement session put them at ease.  Besides, I have a good sense of humor…

But seriously, Melissa looked so beautiful, moved with such grace in her James Clifford dress, and wore her smile all day long.  Alex looked handsome in his Vera Wang tux and there was no lack of charm.  He had me laughing throughout the day and he kept the dance floor going all night long.  Their style and their attention to detail truly made their wedding beautiful.  Enjoy!

Congratulations Melissa and Alex!  It was an honor to be a part of your wedding day!  And special thanks to Angela for sharing her talents with me!

Hugs,

Tessie
